Graham Sanderson Interiors is a UK-based retailer offering bespoke curtains, blinds, and homeware products. For over 50 years, they have sourced the finest designer fabrics and crafted high-quality soft furnishings in their own workrooms. Their collection includes an array of stylish fabrics, wallpapers, homeware, curtains, and blinds.

Working closely with the client, I undertook a major website upgrade, ensuring a seamless transition to improve performance and security.

This project involved:

• Extensive Site Audit and Reporting: Conducted a comprehensive audit of the existing site to identify all upgrade requirements. Prepared a detailed PDF report outlining the findings, along with a timeline and scope of work necessary for the project.
• Comprehensive Site Upgrade: Migrated the website from ExpressionEngine v2 to the latest ExpressionEngine v7, enabling new features and enhancing functionality.
• Add-on and Plugin Updates: Updated over 70 add-ons and more than 10 custom plugins to ensure compatibility and leverage the latest version’s enhancements.
• Custom E-Commerce Module Enhancement: Customized the E-Commerce Store module to improve user experience and streamline online transactions.
• Thorough Bug Testing: Conducted extensive post-upgrade bug testing in close collaboration with the client, ensuring that all aspects of the site functioned as expected.
• Secure Server Migration: Transitioned the entire site to a more secure, dedicated server, enhancing both security and reliability.

Through this project, I aimed to deliver a robust, efficient, and modern online experience that reflects Graham Sanderson Interiors’ commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
